Staff Bios
Jaime T. Fishman, AIA
Jaime Fishman is a Principal Architect and founder of Fishman-Curry with over 30 years experience
practicing educational, religious, commercial, and residential architecture. Born in Santa Clara,
Cuba, he is a long time resident of Baltimore. Mr. Fishman graduated from the University of Maryland,
where he studied under Charles W. Moore, with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1972. He worked
with a local architect, and then ran his own firm until launching Fishman-Curry in 1999 with Shellie
Curry. A number of his designs have won and/or been nominated for prominent awards and he has
received much attention for his charitable contributions to the community. He has been registered
in the state of Maryland since 1981 and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
Shellie A. Curry, III, AIA
Mr. Curry is a Principal Architect with over 20 years experience in commercial, retail, residential, and
institutional architecture. He founded Fishman-Curry with Jaime Fishman after practicing architecture
on his own for over ten years. During that time, he completed many award winning projects including
residential work, golf courses, office and retail, and religious institutions. After receiving his
Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984, he interned with the Kling
Lindquist Partnership in Philadelphia. He holds licenses in Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania, and
is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
Robert M. Gordon
Robert is a Project Architect with over 25 years of experience. He graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor
of Science degree in Architecture from Catholic University of America. Through the years, Rob gained
much experience with a variety of strong area firms. Rob enjoys working on a variety of projects
at all levels from programming and schematic design, through production and on through construction
administration. He is especially interested in the technical aspects of the field and has applied his
skills to a vast array of building types: custom residential, government facilities, schools, and
a variety of commercial projects ranging from shopping malls to office buildings. Rob’s career spans the
evolution from hand drafting to CAD, and he readily applies traditional techniques to the new technology.
Adriana Luftman
Adriana is an Argentinean architect with more than 15 years of professional
experience. She joined Fishman-Curry in 2001 as a Project Architect.
Previously, Adriana worked as a Space Planning Consultant within the
Corporate Sector in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Before that she spent 4 years
with the Jerusalem, Israel office of Moshe Safdie & Associates, where she
was involved in the design development and construction follow-up of several
projects, including the Hebrew Union College and Mamilla Residential, both of
which incorporated the design of custom-made furniture and lighting. During
that time, she received a Master's degree from the Israeli Architectural
Evaluation Committee, in recognition of the quality and extension of her
Academic Studies. Adriana is a member of the Professional Council of
Architects & Urban Planners and the Central Society of Architects (Argentina)
and the Union of Architects and Engineers (Israel). Adriana's work at
Fishman-Curry focuses on mixed-use, commercial and multi-family buildings.
Also, she has participated in the different phases of design for several
projects, including Brookside Commons, The Boulevard Corporate Center,
Chadwick Manor, Arcadia Assisted Living, the Pier 4 Office Building at
the Inner Harbor, and Symphony Center apartments.
Michelle Walsh, Assoc. AIA
Nikki Stoffel, Assoc. AIA
Victoria Lester, Allied Member, ASID
Victoria is the Interior Designer at Fishman-Curry. She graduated from Bradley
Academy in York, Pennsylvania, and is a current member of the American Society
of Interior Designers. Victoria interned at Fishman-Curry while a student, and
after a working with a local interior design firm, she returned to Fishman-Curry
to spearhead the launch of our Interiors Department. She is also responsible for
product research and provides CAD assistance during periods of tight deadlines.
Jonathan Fisher
Jon is a young architect with many diverse interests. After completing the
University of Maryland's Bachelor of Science in Architecture program, he went
on to persue a second degree: Bachelor of Arts in Theater. Combining these two
main interests, Jonathan focuses his career in entertainment, hospitality, and
retail design. His theatrical design techniques also carry over into other
areas of building design, especially the adaptation of historic forms
and considerations for how light will affect the experience of a place.
Beyond architecture and graphic design, Jonathan keeps the technical aspects
of Fishman-Curry running smoothly and on the cutting edge of 21st Century
technology.

Bobbie, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, has been with Fishman-Curry and Associates as their Office
Manager since the company formed in 1999.

Allied Member, ASID
Victoria is the Interior Designer at Fishman-Curry. She graduated from Bradley
Academy in York, Pennsylvania, and is a current member of the American Society
of Interior Designers. Victoria interned at Fishman-Curry while a student and
after a short stay with Kirk Designs she returned to the firm to spearhead the
launch of our Interiors Department. She is responsible for product research
and has begun to assemble an on-site resource library. Her secondary role is
to provide CAD assistance during periods of tight deadlines. Victoria
collaborated on projects including the Schuster and Adler residences, Pier 4
Office Building at the Inner Harbor, and the Woodholme County Club.
